Suitcase Show is an eclectic box set of short stories from multi-award-winning company Trick of the Light Theatre (The Bookbinder, Tröll). Dark, spiky and comic, each one is told out of a suitcase.
The tone is mysterious, the staging inventive – from lo-fi light and shadowplay to wireless projection, from a wordless departure lounge dance between two disembodied hands to a narrated story that crackles from an old 70s stereo suitcase. About the Company
Trick of the Light is an award-winning theatre company from Aotearoa / New Zealand, founded by Hannah Smith and Ralph McCubbin Howell. They are renowned for their engaging, nuanced stories and inventive design.
