How art and words can work together opening

Have you ever been tempted to write your story down? Prose and poetry can be the perfect format to capture the complexities and nuance of personal narrative.

Sisters Rangimarie and Caitlin Jolley (Waikato Tainui) are creators of the Hoki Mai exhibition, curated by Kūwao Gallery. In this session, you'll hear about how they use words and images to explore the power of reconnecting to their whakapapa.

Rangimarie will then take you through an easy, simple introduction to Prose101, after which you might have a go at writing a short piece of 5-10 lines.
