About the Speaker
Dame Susan Devoy was born in 1964, the only girl in a family of seven children. Growing up in Rotorua, the Devoy family name soon became synonymous with squash, with the family regularly travelling to tournaments all over New Zealand. Susan went on to become a four-time world squash champion. Susan's fierce drive and competitive streak has guided her throughout her life, which has had hardly a dull moment.
