Oral Poetry & Totems

Poet Glenn Colquhoun has explored Māori and Pakeha forms of oral poetry to create his own ‘songs for Pakeha to sing’, some inspired by real figures from New Zealand’s history, as well as some mythical figures he’s come across. His performance is supported by his cast of ‘totems’. Our final replay from Escape! 2018.
