Are Australian authors a closed book to you? When did you last read New Zealand fiction?
Our two countries are linked by a shared colonial and military history, by sport and by ‘mateship’ but although we share a common language and travel widely in each other’s domains there is little interaction between the written arts. Our panellists are Australian (Kate Grenville), a Kiwi living in Australia (Stephen Daisley) and a New Zealander who has written both here and overseas (Catherine Chidgey).
Please refrain from wearing fragranced products to this session.
