Lynn Freeman reviews Le Sud

'Fast furious and funny' is how Lynn Freeman describes Dave Armstrong's new play Le Sud. With recent sell out shows in Wellington its next port of call is Tauranga in October.
'New Zealanders need to laugh more at ourselves, satire is part of a healthy nation', says Freeman. And Le Sud certainly does that. Its littered with up to minute political references, and manages to do what Armstrong set out to do: insult everybody, but as Freeman says he does it with 'affection and evenhandedly'.
