One of New Zealand's best writers with a workshop to inspire your own adventures.
Steve Braunias has won multiple awards for travel writing and has been a feature writer for leading magazines, including The Listener and North & South. He has written about places as diverse as Antarctica and Fiji, with his book about smalltown New Zealand, Civilisation: Twenty Places on the Edge of the World, winning its category at the 2013 New Zealand Post Book Awards. He was editor-in-residence at the Wintec School of Journalism for 5 years and has previously won writing fellowships to Oxford and Cambridge universities. Non-fiction should, Steve says, be an accumulation of discovered facts presented in a readable and intelligent manner – and every sentence should be a good one! Limited to 12 places
